7.03 Emblem as Machine, paragraph 3
While looking at the emblems on the footnoted website did not add much to my understanding of emblem 126 (lioness/boar/vulture), emblem 6 (whore of Babylon), or emblem 110 (wingless Cupid), seeing emblem 16 (floating hand) did make a difference. The description alone did not work by itself to explain how the strange quality of the picture served as a memory device.

0.00 INTRODUCTION: The Problem of School Books, whole page
I have been navigating the Humanism for Sale website for about a week. It took me a little while to get used to the format, but now I really like the way it works. It’s a very different experience than reading a book. I find it easier to get an idea of the content as a whole, most likely because it’s so easy to go between chapters, much easier than flipping pages.
